Christie Stephenson
Executive Director, Peter P. Dhillon Centre for Business Ethics, UBC Sauder School of Business
Christie Stephenson is the Executive Director of the Peter P. Dhillon Centre for Business Ethics at UBC Sauder School of Business and a national expert on social and environmental investment and governance. Christie also has more than two decades of diverse director experience, serving on the boards of organizations addressing a variety of social and environmental issues, as well as values-driven companies in a range of industries, across the spectrum from start-ups to large mature entities and with both business-to-consumer and business-to-business operating models. This has included the boards of non-profit organizations, university bodies, cooperatives, a multi-employer pension plan, private companies, and reporting issuers. Enhance 2025 is beyond thrilled to welcome Christie as our esteemed Keynote speaker!
Workshop Speaker
Rachel Akinyemi is an associate in the Employment and Labour and Immigration groups in the Vancouver office. She assists clients with a range of complex matters, including wrongful dismissal actions, human rights complaints, employment standards compliance and labour relations. Rachel also supports corporate and individual clients with business immigration, covering both temporary and permanent residence matters. Driven by her passion for providing effective legal counsel, Rachel brings a client-centered approach to every case, ensuring thorough and practical solutions. She is committed to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest legal trends in employment and labour and immigration law.
